 Rebecca McKenzie’s work explores joy, faith, femininity, and emotional connection through layered abstract florals and symbolic imagery. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, she creates highly textured compositions using expressive sculptural movement, soft color palettes, and metallic elements that bring dimension and warmth to each piece.

Inspired by her Southern upbringing, garden landscapes, heirloom sentimentality, and meaningful everyday beauty, her paintings blend abstraction with recognizable forms - hearts, flowers, oysters, butterflies, birds, angels and crosses - creating work that feels both contemporary and deeply personal.
